Rotary Airlock Valves for Battery Material Processing Equipment

We have supplied rotary airlock valves to equipment manufacturers whose machines serve the lithium battery industry. That work is not a marketing claim about battery production — it is experience in building valves to the dimensional and consistency requirements of powder processing equipment, where a valve that does not fit the machine stops a whole line.

What this experience actually means

Battery material equipment — mixing, drying, milling, classification, conveying and filling — is built around tight dimensional control. The valve has to match the machine's interface exactly, hold its dimensions across batches, and be repeatable enough that the OEM does not have to re-fit every unit. That is a manufacturing discipline, not a special product: frozen drawings, controlled tolerances, first-article approval and lot traceability.

Material contact and cleanliness

Battery powders are sensitive to contamination and to moisture. Where the customer's design requires it we build in stainless steel with machined and polished contact surfaces, sealed bearings and purgeable seals so that neither grease nor external dust reaches the product. We state clearly what we can and cannot certify: this is a mechanical valve built to your specification, not a certified contamination-free device.

Where the valve is used in the line

Typical positions are the discharge of a mixer or dryer, under a jet mill or classifier cyclone, on the feed into a pneumatic conveying line, and at the filling head. Each position has a different priority: sealing for the conveying feed, metering stability for the filling head, and cleanability for anything downstream of a material changeover.

Working with an OEM

We are set up to work as a component supplier rather than a line builder: sample before batch, drawing revision control, dimensional reports and consistent packaging. We do not name our customers and we do not publish their drawings, specifications or project details.
